On November 13th, at the "2025 6G Development Conference", Huang Yuhong, President of China Mobile Research Institute, gave a keynote speech titled "Integrated Connection, Collaborative Development, Jointly Promoting 6G as a New Economic Growth Point", systematically elaborating on China Mobile's research and development achievements and practical thinking in the field of 6G.

Huang Yuhong stated that 6G, as a key future industry to be deployed during the 15th Five Year Plan period, will become the core engine driving economic growth. In the face of a new round of technological changes and industrial opportunities, 6G, as the core foundation of new information infrastructure, needs to promote the deep integration of all elements such as communication, perception, computing, and AI at the technical level, and support the ability transition from mobile communication networks to mobile information networks; Accelerate the deployment of new scene cultivation and scale application deployment at the industrial level, explore new business models, and build a complete closed loop from technological breakthroughs to industrial applications.

Huang Yuhong introduced that China Mobile has systematically laid out 6G research and development since 2018, and has achieved a series of key breakthroughs in technology, standards, industry, and applications. Technologically, the first 6G sensory computing intelligent aerospace technology system was launched, and the top ten key technologies for system research and development were identified; In terms of standards, experts from China Mobile served as the main reporter for 3GPP's first 6G wireless standard project and were elected as the chairman of RAN1 working group for the first time; In terms of industry, we will collaborate with partners to create a "6G sensing and intelligent fusion test device", providing an end-to-end joint research and verification platform for the industry; In terms of application, relying on 6G testing equipment to empower new scenarios and applications, stimulate new business models, and form a commercial closed loop.

In terms of promotion strategy, Huang Yuhong proposed that the development of 6G needs to be deeply coordinated and integrated with 5G-A, strengthen demand and scenario traction, consolidate the fundamentals of 5G-A, occupy the high ground of 6G, and create new growth poles. She pointed out that "three multiplications and three integrations" are the core scenarios shared by 5G-A and 6G, with the main difference being the superposition of capabilities and the internalization of capabilities. 5G-A, as a crucial stage that connects the past and the future, needs to continuously promote technological, application, and business model innovation to accumulate experience for 6G; 6G should expand the boundaries of scenarios and innovate business models based on architectural changes and endogenous technological integration.
